North Star Lodge No. 8
Guiding Light Since 1797
Serving the Lancaster community with brotherly love, relief, and truth for over 225 years.
A Brotherhood Rooted in Lancaster
Founded by fifteen Masons and chartered by the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire on 18 December 1797, North Star Lodge No. 8 is one of the oldest Masonic lodges in the state. For more than two centuries our members have met — once by the light of the full moon to find their way home through the wilderness — upholding the timeless pillars of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth while remaining deeply rooted in the North Country community.

Serving Lancaster Since 1797
North Star Lodge has a long tradition of charitable giving and community service — from supporting local families in need to sponsoring scholarships and partnering with community organizations across the North Country of New Hampshire. Our members believe that a Mason's first duty is to his community, and that belief has guided us for over two centuries.
